Aspiration & Authenticity

This project is based on the judgment of people on other appearance and what they are wearing. I defined the meaning of ‘luxury’ in a different context by showing the contrast of quality clothing in a low-income neighbourhood using different characters. In fact, a person wearing a subtle delicacy garment doesn’t always mean that they are wealthy. There are three different characters in this series which I used to tell a story on their aspiration to become someone else. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to remind people that clothing doesn’t define your wealth, your worth does.
