Not A Local
After a few years of being isolated from the rest of the world I felt it was time to start travelling again. This book captures a new chapter of the time I spent in the United States, a place which is so far away from my home. These photographs could be very familiar to a lot of people, but to me they are unfamiliar and very different from where I came from. They show my perspective of how I see the city, not only focusing on the iconic attractions, but the everyday life of the people. Little details such as steam rising from a manhole, keeping the whole city running, decisive moments which encapsulate my point of view are what I want to represent. Usually I plan ahead for a trip, but this time I decided to let the city guide me and show me what it had to offer.
